A crown, also known as a cap, is designed to strengthen a broken tooth or restore the tooth’s appearance. Crowns look natural and match the shade of your existing teeth. Generally two appointments are needed for a crown. The first appointment is longer because there is more to do! The tooth is prepared for the crown and an impression is taken to replicate your mouth. In between the appointments, there is a temporary placed on the tooth to protect it. At the second appointment, the crown is placed. A crown can last many years.
Dr. Finley is very experienced with crowns and so much more!
The crown was explained to me using a 3D-model that gave me complete understanding of the scheduled procedure. I recommend Dr. Finley and his competent staff to anyone needing dental care. — MB
